AWWA Slates Water Loss Control Webcast
On April 21, the American Water Works Association will host the "Increasing Need for Water Loss Control" Webcast, which will provide an overview of the current status of water control loss in North America, updates on regulatory agency issues, describe accounting procedures and software, and introduce industry manuals for evaluating and controlling the problem.
Participants will learn about new terminology, the many resources available for starting and continuing a water loss control program, and lessons learned from a water utility that has been using the water audit methodology for more than 10 years.
Presenters include Tom Jakubowski, president, Water Accountability LLC; Andrew Chastain-Howley, regional director, Miya Water; and George Kunkel, P.E., assistant chief, Water Conveyance Section; Philadelphia Water Department.
